An almost offensively crazy post

Didaskalos,

You probably typed that post with a straight face in a quiet room, but you seem to strive for the rhetorical effect of a madman declaiming at the city gate.

You're talking about idealisation, right? And projection of one's feelings on a boy? How complicated can you make such a banal, and often benign, fact of the emotional life?

What has any of it got to do with god or religion? How can your grovelling obeisance before the biggest, dumbest fantasy in human history bring any insight to the quotidian idealisations involved in carnal desire?

What on earth has idealisation of boys got to do with genital mutilation? A truly strange swerve there. I'll assume some sort of crudely ironical effect was being sought. However I get the persistent feeling that you believe every word you write.

Your message is: 'Forget ideal boys! You need an ideal universe ruled by a fantastic male being with unlimited powers instead!' How can you be blind to the senselessness of this?

Didaskalos, I have tried more than most to understand you and your worldview, but in this post you've jumped off the deep end. If it has any influence on BC readers at all, I hope it is a negative one.

I can't get over the presumption involved in the (original) post's title, either, by the way. In the light of this and many other posts of yours, I don't consider you any more fit to instruct boylovers than to instruct boys themselves, at least not when it comes to sex and human mental life.

Regards,
Mr_Lee
