that it should be moved to a meta place - YCDTOBC? Beacuse it does contain material relevant to the development of BoyWrite. Or even a fledgeling meta BW... can this hurt? It would be an archive resource for BW webmasters. It could also be a place where posts that are not creative writing in their own right, or legitimate feedback could be moved to preserve the integrity of the index.

I also think that some authors start a new thread with each installment of a story to ensure that readers see it as new. Adding it as a follow-up in another thread would mean that it might get lost - or buried in a fast-moving index (which admittedly BW isn't).

However, if the story was that gripping one would wish to read the next installment so much one would actively seek it out which ought to reassure writers.

Could the script be changed so that a post moved to the top of the index everytime a follow-up was posted? That idea might have merit on BC also where the pace at whih the index moves at times means that important posts get lost while more superficial matters clog up the top of the board.....

Good luck with the hunt for a new webmaster. Couldn't Dusk be persuaded?

She gets my vote.
